I'm trying to find the cheapest way to set up a GPS rig for my bike. As of right now I'm considering using a motorcycle mount to mount the GPS that I already have. It's relatively small and has little weight so I would feel comfortable using it while riding for practice but probably would have to remove it for races. I don't have any need to have a GPS available to me during races anyway. I probably don't need it for riding in general anyway, it just seems like it would be fun to have.

Does anybody out there have a GPS set-up that they like for their bike? If I decide to go forward with the mount I'll have to post back how I feel about it. Blessings to you guys and safe riding.

Another question is do you have and iPhone? TomTom for the iPhone works pretty well and iMapMyRide app for the iPhone is another cheaper option.

I have the Garmin 705 and its great! I've even used it in my car for directions and it gets me to where I want to go. Its a bit expensive but I feel its well worth the price.

the Garmin 305 is on sale that maybe an option. If you have an iPhone the TomTom app and Mapmy ride app could be another option.
