Bike shops are unique and in some ways a step back in time. It is always a good sign when there are loyal customers standing around talking about rides. Most shop owners are passionate about the cycling community not just for business but a real passion.

In this section there is a list of bike shops, if you see something missing or a brand the have or don't have please feel free to add you two cents. Please if you have a negative comment be fair, honest and in the proper context.

Simplicity Cycle in Hanover, Kirk is a long time icon of York cycling and now has his own shop. They carry Bianchi and Jamis primarly along with great service.

Gung Ho Bikes has been around for a long time and best known for MTB. They also have a great selection of trail, road, accessories and great service. Brands carried, Specialized, Raleigh, DK, HH and Niner.

Cycle Works in Wrightsville, great shop in the eastern edge of York. Brands sold Jamis, Giant, Redline, SCOTT, FELT, Haro, Fit, Salsa, Niner and Used bikes.

Adventure Cycling and Fitness in west York off RT 30. Main brands Trek and Cannondale plus loads of accessories, good sized shop.

The Bike Shak  located in Dallastown. Tony Doll, after many years of experience working as a mechanic in local bike shops I decided I needed to take my passion for bicycles and turn it in to my own business.
