I'll start going next week, I'll swing by the coffee shop at 5:30 (weather permitting).  I usually ride Monday nights anyways.  I'm not going tonight because the weather doesn't look great and I'm busy.
Thanks Drew, sounds good. Ill try to make it out next week as well.
My vote is next week as well 5:30 is perfect time.
Great, Barry Klein will most likely ride with us.  He keeps talking about starting this up again.

I'm in !!

Thanks for the great ride on Monday night.  I enjoyed the route and the spirited pace!  We'll be back.

As much as I enjoy and admittedly was a partaker of  the "spirited pace" , I don't think this ride was originally started to be a "spirited" ride. I know it's early spring and we have all been in hibernation for a long cold winter and the legs are restless, but I think this was originally started to be  somewhat of a casual recovery pace Monday ride after a weekend of harder riding. No doubt it is fun to test  fitness with a group but I have a feeling this will scare away some different level riders. Maybe we split into an A/B type group once we get rolling? Thoughts? I don't mean to be the spoiler and again admit my quilt of partaking.Going fast on a bike almost always seems irresistible.  Anyway just throwing the thought out there.

See you all next week!

Yeah , i think an A and B group is a good idea atleast once we hit the lakes (that seems to be  where things break up) .... i know if i race on a Sunday , Monday will be very casual pace and have no problem hangin back with others that dont wanna *hammer*....
yeh I beleive we all like to test our legs here and their, but I agree with Sean we should attempt to keep a normal pace so not to scare off newbies or beginner riders.

I like the idea of limiting pace so that we encourage more people to ride.  I should be there this week, provided I get out of work on time!
If you are trying to attract a broad range of riders, the frequent regrouping is the best encouragement, and having someone hanging out at the back would be nice.  Nobody likes being alone at the back of the pack.  It's hard to tell people to slow down on a hill, but they can wait longer at the top for this kind of ride.
