Event Description
Next week is Bike In York Week. Check out the website at http://bikeinyorkweek.com/. I just found out about it and it is a very worthwhile event. During the week, temporary bike lanes will be "coned" off in York. It would be awesome to see many people using them, showing support for permanent bike lanes!
I plan to commute to work next week. I'm going to pack my clothes in a backpack and ride from Spry up to Emigsville. Say hi if you pass me! I don't know if I will be able to every day, but I will do it as much as possible.
There is a kick-off event at the York Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 15th at ll AM.

OK I rode my bike to work yesterday! Glen Rock to West York. Glad I got at least the one ride in on Monday, 'cause it's raining today the rest of the week doesn't look too good either. Hope to see some support for this initiative from the local cycling community!
